Pre-order Kindle Version of "Embracing God's Timing." Paperback and hardback coming Sept 18
August 19, 2025 - Did you know that there is a 100-mile section of I-70 in Utah where there are no gas stations? So if you see a "Last Chance to Buy Gas" sign on either end of this stretch, you best stop and fill up.
But for the most part, using the phrase "Last Chance" is a clever marketing tool, implying an urgency that likely does not exist.
When it comes to our relationship with our Heavenly Father, however, there are no last chances. He will always be there reaching out when we turn to Him.
While we may not always believe this, there are some things we can do feel His love more often.
Turn to Him "in every thought" - in both the good times and the bad.
Think of the love you have for those around you. Wouldn't you be willing to drop everything if they needed you? Our Father in Heaven feels the same.
Take greater notice of the world around, the beauty of nature and all His creations. He did all that for you!
Believe in the hymn "I am a Child of God." Because you always have been and will always be His.
Don't look to the world for your identity. Look to Him. As the title of the 1950s television show reminds us, "Father Knows Best."
